Background

The Thoth Tarot was painted by Lady Frieda Harris for Aleister Crowley, who wrote The Book of Thoth (1944) for use with it. The full deck was first printed in the 1960s, after both had died.

How it works

It is read like other tarot decks, with some renamed cards and Golden Dawn-derived astrological and Kabbalistic correspondences.
