Information We Collect

When you use StarVeda, we may collect the following:

• Birth details (date, time, place) submitted for chart generation
• Email address when subscribing to newsletters
• Contact information when submitting inquiries
• Account details (name, email, profile picture) when creating an account or signing in with Google

How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalized Kundlis and horoscope forecasts
• To deliver newsletter updates if you have subscribed
• To respond to inquiries and support requests
• To improve our tools and user experience

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's global infrastructure (Cloudflare D1, Workers, and Pages) with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We retain account data only as long as your account is active; deletion requests are honoured within 30 days.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, profile picture, and a Google-issued account identifier (the 'sub' claim). We use these only to identify your StarVeda account; we do not access your Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service. You can revoke StarVeda's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Advertising — Google AdSense

StarVeda uses Google AdSense to display ads on free public pages. Google and its advertising partners use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to:

• Serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites (when not signed in to a paid plan)
• Measure ad performance and the effectiveness of our content
• Comply with regional privacy regulations (GDPR / DPDP / CCPA where applicable)

Opt out of personalized ads: You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or use the industry-standard opt-out at aboutads.info.

Paid-plan subscribers see no ads on any page.

Cookies & Local Storage

StarVeda uses cookies and browser storage for: authentication (JWT, 30-day expiry), language preference, dark/light theme, and AdSense personalization (on ad-eligible pages). You can clear these any time from your browser settings; doing so will log you out and reset preferences.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate StarVeda:

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, edge database (D1), authentication tokens
• Resend — transactional email (OTP, password reset, newsletter)
• Razorpay — payment processing (only personal data needed for the transaction is shared)
• Google — AdSense (advertising) and OAuth Sign-In (optional)
• Google Analytics / Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate, anonymized site usage metrics

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in each email.
