This page describes the practice. There is deliberately no automated reading for it — see the notes below.

Background

Mo is part of the culture and religion of Tibet. The answers are regarded as coming from Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom; one well-known manual was composed by Jamgön Ju Mipham Gyatso.

How it works

With a question in mind the dice are rolled, and the result is looked up in a prediction manual, within prayers and practice.

Notes and limits

Culture: Mo is a religious practice usually performed by lamas or practitioners with the relevant prayers and empowerments. There is no simulation here; learn about it from Tibetan Buddhist teachers and communities.
