An Indian annual-chart system of Persian origin, cast for the moment the Sun returns to its birth position each year.

A description for now. An interactive tool for this method is planned but not built yet.

Background

The word tajika refers to a Persian, reflecting the system’s Perso-Arabic roots. In 1544 Neelakantha rendered it into Sanskrit in the Tajika Neelakanthi.

How it works

An annual chart (varsha-kundali) is cast for the solar return. It is read with its own tools: sixteen Tajika yogas, sensitive points called sahams, and the muntha.
