A description for now. An interactive tool for this method is planned but not built yet.

Background

The rokuyō are a cycle of six days calculated from the lunisolar calendar that supposedly predict good or bad fortune. They are commonly printed on Japanese calendars and are often used to plan weddings and funerals.

How it works

The first day of the first lunar month is always senshō; the cycle then runs in order and restarts at a fixed point each lunar month.
